ZOW 2014 outgrows venue and shifts dates
The International Exhibition of Components and Accessories for the furniture industry ZOW 2013 is co-located with the Mebel exhibition in Moscow Expocentre to take place on November 18-22. Whereas its edition 2014 is set earlier on May 12-15 in pavilion 75 of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre together with new international furniture B2B-exhibition FIDexpo, a showcase of furniture products of European, Russian and Asian manufacturers in medium and medium plus price segments.
The new dates precede the beginning of active sales of furniture in Russia in good time and will contribute to the consolidation of all the major suppliers of furniture, components and accessories at the ZOW Moscow.
The spacious pavilion 75 of the VVC that was designed in accordance with modern exhibition standards and launched in 2008 will significantly increase the number of ZOW exhibitors.
The synergy between ZOW and FIDexpo projects will provide an additional opportunity for cooperation of manufacturers and suppliers in the furniture industry, and increase significantly the number of visitors and buyer potential of the events and make it possible to fully track the process chain of furniture manufacturing. Knowledge of Russian and international furniture markets and the experience of the organisers - RESTEC® Exhibition Company and UBM, allow them to be confident in success of the project.
For the first time, the ZOW will be collocated with the All-Russian Furniture Summit, the most reputable and large-scale furniture congress in Russia. The All-Russian Furniture Summit will be held in Moscow on May 14-16 and will attract senior managers and business owners in the area of production and trade of furniture and accessories for the furniture industry to the ZOW exhibition.
The strategic changes in 2014 were received positively by the exhibitors. Even now, ZOW 2014 exhibitors include such leading brands as Sidak-SP, PG Soyuz, Slotex, Hranipex, Samet, and Akrilika. According to the Vadim Osipov, General Director of Slotex the change of location and time of the ZOW exhibition will bring an additional flow of visitors and provide more opportunities for dynamic and fruitful negotiations. Sidak-SP also places big stakes on the new dates. 'The month of May is time for business for vendors collaborating with furniture companies in the development of autumn furniture collections,' - Khachik Ispiryan, General Director of Sidak-SP said. One of the market leaders in furniture components and accessories and a permanent exhibitor at the ZOW Samet predicts success for the tandem of ZOW and FIDexpo. 'Hopefully, the partnership with FIDexpo will make the show even more attractive both for exhibitors and visitors,' - Azat Zakiev, General Director of Samet said.
The 2014 exhibition ZOW will run a first on-site matchmaking with free online service aimed at scheduling business meetings to optimise negotiation of purchasing agents and suppliers. A special programme for buyers will also ensure presence of wholesalers, retailers and distributors at the show.
While evolving and improving, the exhibition maintains some traditions: the unique all-inclusive concept of the ZOW brand to provide the participants with PR support, restaurant meals, Forum bars and other services is being kept.
The strategic solutions for the exhibition ZOW 2014 will strengthen the position of the project as a leading b2b-platform for furniture components and accessories and take a key place in the calendar of trade fairs in Russia.
